Binod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal (B.B.M.K.) University, Dhanbad invites applications in offline mode from eligible candidates for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme in various disciplines/subjects for the academic session 2025-2026.
The admission process will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for the Award of Ph.D.) Regulations, 2022, dated 07 November 2022, duly adopted by the University vide Notification No. BBMKU/R/1175/2025 Dated 14.7.2025 along with the University-specific rules and regulations.

✅ Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned subject with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/BC-I/BC-II/EWS/PwD).
Exam Qualification:
- UGC-JRF/NET for Assistant Professor/NET (Ph.D.)/UGC-CSIR-NET/GATE/JET on or before the date of advertisement.
🧾 Selection Procedure
- Category I (JRF qualified): Admission based on interview only.
- Category II & III (NET qualified): 70% weightage for NET scores + 30% weightage for interview/VIVA-VOCE.
- Admission is based on combined merit of NET marks and interview performance.
